How it all began
- 2005 – 2006
From forum to table
1. Aachener Snookerclub -Pot Black- e.V. was officially founded in February 2006. The club owes its foundation primarily to the 'Snooker-Aachen.de' forum and a group of snooker enthusiasts who met through the forum in autumn 2005 at a billiard hall equipped with snooker tables.
- 2006
From idea to first season
The idea of founding a formal club quickly gained momentum. After several snooker sessions, plans solidified, leading to our first official General Assembly in January 2006. We subsequently competed in billiard halls and prepared for our inaugural Oberliga season starting on October 8, 2006.
- 2007 – today
A home of our own
Thanks to the tireless effort of all members—especially our then Managing Director Dirk Pelzer—we secured our own dedicated venue in March 2007. The assembly approved renting the Heinrich-Hollands-Straße premises on April 21, 2007, prior to moving to our current spacious venue on Gneisenaustraße. Today we offer top-tier conditions across 300+ sqm with 9 tournament tables.
