Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
Everything you need to know about opening hours, membership, material, and ad-hoc guest play.
For active members holding a key card, the clubhouse is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are no fixed closing hours for members. Non-members and visitors can arrange a trial session in advance.
We advise against dropping by spontaneously, as we do not have fixed opening hours and there is a high risk that no one will be on site. If you would like to get to know our club, please arrange a tour with a board member in advance via our contact page.
We offer several membership categories: Regular (Adults), Reduced (Students & Trainees), Spouse/Partner, Youth (ages 15-17), and Children (up to age 14). Detailed monthly fees and one-off admission fees can be checked in our interactive calculator on the Membership page.
The process involves 4 steps: 1. Read the club constitution and house rules. 2. Complete the membership application form. 3. Issue a SEPA direct debit mandate. 4. Schedule an appointment with the board for key handover and an initial walkthrough.
Yes, per our club constitution, the cancellation notice period is 3 months to the end of a month. Notice must be submitted in writing to the board.
Spanning over 300 sqm, we feature 9 professional full-size snooker tables. All tables are fitted with premium Strachan West of England Tournament Gold cloth, professional shadow-free lighting, and undergo regular maintenance.
No, house cues as well as specialized rest equipment (Rest, Spider, Swan, Extended Rest) are available at all tables. Members are also welcome to bring and store their personal cues in cue racks.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer standalone day memberships like conventional billiard halls because we do not have fixed opening hours. However, members are free to bring guests.
A day membership is required for each guest at a fee of €15 per guest. The day membership is valid for as long as a club member is present at the clubhouse, limited to a maximum of 24 hours.
No, keys are personal and must not be handed over to others. If you lose your key, inform the board immediately so that access can be blocked. A replacement is issued against the key deposit.
Once your membership application has been received and the SEPA direct debit is set up, you arrange an appointment with the board for the key handover and an introduction at the clubhouse. The key deposit is due upon handover.
The tables are cared for by the club members themselves. They are always brushed after play and ironed before play, and re-clothed at fixed intervals to ensure tournament conditions at all times.
Advance notice is not strictly required – the accompanying club member takes responsibility for the guest on site. However, we ask larger groups or recurring guests to get in touch beforehand.
Definitely! If you play regularly, guest fees quickly add up to more than the monthly membership fee – and as a member you can play around the clock. Feel free to ask us about a trial session.
